How is Coaching Different From Therapy?
There are many differences between Coaching and therapy,
however both are confidential. Coaching is about looking forward, whereas
therapy is about understanding and resolving the past. The following
distinctions can make this clear:
Therapy is about healing. Therapy is about
understanding. Therapy is about safety. Therapy is about
protecting. Therapy is about progress. Therapy is about
resolving. Therapy is about getting closure.
Coaching is about
achievement. Coaching is about taking action. Coaching is about
momentum. Coaching is about performance. Coaching is about
attracting. Coaching is about creating. Coaching is about developing
opportunities.
